How To Clicker Train Cats The Easy Way

4. Note that practice periods should be short. More can be learned in three brief five minute sessions per day than hours of boring and stressful repetition.
5. Correct bad acts by ignoring and clicking when good behavior is displayed. Click when your kitten uses the litter box or when it plays on the scratch post, not on the furniture.
6. Click for accidental and voluntary actions nearing your objective. You should entice the cat into a position, but never pull or push it or hold it.
7. Never wait until your cat performs the perfect act that you told it to do, instead click and reward for little actions towards the correct direction. When your cat is signaled to sit and it crouches in its back, click.
8. Carry the clicker at all times when you are with your cat, so you can catch good acts.
9. Make sure to put aside the clicker when you are scolding your cat.
The non-confrontational character of a clicker makes it an ideal tool for training your cat.

From what I have been reading, it really depends on the industry in which you are applying as well as the job. As many of us jobseekers are familiar, hiring managers only give you seconds to prove your worthiness. According, the human voice resume' the bulleted job responsibilities are removed and replaced by a more intimate paragraph of your duties. Realistically, none of the HR managers are going to take time (or have time) to give this type of resume' the credit you feel it deserves. For me, the human voice is implied in a cover letter, in the job objective of your resume and in the interview where the hiring manager can actually hear your voice and not read your voice (what a oxymoron).
I have had the same question that you pose, but it didn't take much research to see that even if a few people are able to get noticed with the "human voice" resume', it won't be effective for EVERYone. Some people just don't know how to articulate themselves correctly and no matter whether the information is coming across visual, audible or orally, their impression may fall short. What I plan on doing is having two types of resume's. I will use the human voice resume when I am not submitting a cover letter; but in the case where I do generate a cover letter, I will use a traditional resume'.

What a timely video for me! I just started teaching this to Ricky this week. We are good on everything except the “hold it” part. I find it really hard to communicate that he should keep the blanket in his mouth. So it will take awhile before we get to the roll over while holding the blanket stage! I trained one of my dogs using a clicker. He does very well with it. Gets excited whenever he sees or hears it. He knows when he hears it it's time to work. You just need to be coordinated enough to when the right moment to use it as praise.

This is a very hard move to pull off and it will never sound perfect. A lot of times, the vocals are panned in the very center of the mix, so start out by eliminating every part of the stereo image except the center (you will need a sophisticated program for this). Then you'll need to do some heavy equalizing, probably killing the lowest lows, and emphasizing the vocalist's range. If you're trying to do a remix, you can try to mask the 'artifacts' of the playback music with a subtle pad sound.
