Bringing home a cute ball of fluff (otherwise known as a kitten) is always an exciting addition to anyone’s family. Now I know you didn’t forget the food dish with pouting fish to be sure that your kitten dines in fashion, and of course, you didn’t forget the litter box. You’re all set, right?

In the beginning your new kitten sniffed out every place in its reach. It ate half the bag of cat food, and had been faithfully breaking in its brand new litter box. Now you have noticed your new cuddle monster breaking in to more things then you intended.

Toilet training kittens is easily done. There are a few exceptions. There are cats who just won’t, because they don’t want to. Cats are relatively easy to toilet train – most of the time.

Cat health care is one of the most important subjects for responsible and loving cat owners to be aware of. It involves prevention, understanding, and sometimes treatment of a possible life-threatening disease. Cat health care is also affected by lack of exercise and poor diet. You can love your cat into a state of being unhealthy without enough exercise and proper nutrition.

Epics, novels and movies have always portrayed cats as unpredictable and moody creatures. Many consider cats as mysterious creatures. However, the truth cannot be further from this. A cat is as normal and predictable as any other animals. The only condition is that we need to know what to expect from a cat behavior.

Cats and kittens are like children in that they enjoy the stimulation and interaction of toys during their day. Just like children’s toys, cat toys can be seen lying around the house used or unused. Many cats will also have their favourite cat toys, like children, and become possessive of them.

Cat toys and playing can greatly improve the physical and emotional health of your cat. Cats have a very strong instinct to stalk and hunt and playing with cat toys is the closest most domestic cats get to expressing these instincts. A cat who is not encouraged to play and develop their abilities will quickly become shy, scared, lazy and overweight, which does not make for a very happy cat. The best thing you can do for your cat is play with them.

Many people believe that cat training is too difficult, and often let their cat’s behavior problems continue based solely on this fact. The idea that cats are too hard or too stubborn to train, is just simply not true. They may not be as easy or as willing to comply as dogs might be, but training your cat is not an impossible task, in fact, it isn’t even very difficult if you go about it in the right ways.
